  Ths is most likely Spencer Dock on the north side of the river, with Workman, Clark & Co, Shipyard (the "Wee Yard"), in the background. National Library of Ireland on The Commons Yes, the Pilot Office would be to the photographer's right!

  Here's some info on the Beatrice: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Beatrice_%28ship,_188... "Beatrice‘ was a four-masted iron barque built in 1881 by Steele, Greenock as Routenburn. Her dimensions were: 289'0×42'2×23'9 and tonnage: 2094 GRT and 1935 NRT. Beatrice to be used as a sail training ship for AB Pollux, Gothenburg. In 1932 broken up in Stavanger."
