This is part of the assembly of ships that gathered in the Hudson River between May 8th and May 18th, 1915 for review by President Wilson. An article describing the Atlantic Fleet's arrival noted that the submarines were at 186th street. select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F10F12FC345A1273... However, another site describes this scene as at the 135th St. piers, which is more in line with the old Palisades Amusement Park. www.pigboats.com/subs/d-boats.html
