[https://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] beachcomber australia stop the press! Did some research on T D Cleary and this is what I found. In an exhibition catalogue written by former State Library NSW curator Alan Davies, he writes of a Thomas Cleary, who offered Sam Hood the Dalny Studio at 124 Pitt St in 1918. Though Sam had taken casual photos for the Sydney Mail, Cleary 'had a contract to regularly supply the Melbourne Argus and Australasian with Sydney photographs. Sam continued to fulfil the contract and, each week, from 1918 to 1940, a page of his photographs of sports events, social gatherings and Sydney scenery appeared in the Australasian'!!!!
