  Adoree Villany first came to notoriety for her "Dance of the Seven Veils" in 1905; she was tried for obscenity in Munich in 1911-12, for her dancing "without clothing." She also published a book, _Tanz-Reform und Pseudo-Moral_, setting forth her philosophy of modern dance.

This piece suggests that she also based dances on paintings. This makes me wonder if this could be one of those. It looks to me as though the costume is not actually a dress, but designed to unwind.

  The lady is DRILLING not riviting. This looks like the decking for something other than the A-20.

  definitely the hair net, but I was really pulling for the shoes. gives a very clear sense of scope and scale of the operation, ....those drills were not like tools we have today. I am struck.
