Lawrence strike meeting, New York (LOC)

from The Library of Congress

• Josh Glenn said:

Isn't this in Lawrence, Mass., not New York? And if so, why would someone write "New York" on the image? Answer: Because the strikers paraded in New York City.

• The Library of Congress said:

Thanks for pointing out the confusion. Some times the titles on the caption cards and glass negatives differ a bit. Well change this title to use the the literal words on the negative and clarify the location: "Lawrence strike meeting, New York."
