It was the day of the engagement of Princess Viktoria Luise with Princ Ernst August, February 11th 1913; the third person on the photo is Prince Oskar of Prussia (1888–1958), one of Viktoria Luise's six brothers. Fascinating portrait. The jaunty informal angle of the hat is telling. One moment he seems a lovable rogue and the next moment he seems sly, teasing and perhaps sometimes a little bit nasty. (I say this entirely from the portrait. I don't know anything about him, otherwise.)
