Looking back to the Anzac Day celebrations in Mackay (1920 - 1930). The Customs House building is visible at the far right of the image. The Mackay community has long supported the Anzac Day parade - a time when our community gathers in the city center to pay tribute to those who served our country. Waterton Lakes holds many fond memories for me, although I do not get there very often any more. This is my favourite photo from here. Used to see a lot of these colourized aerial photos back in the 1950s and 60s. We even had one of our farm home near Coaldale.
