Looking for details on Lota Robinson: According to The Amiable Baltimoreans by Francis F. Beirne, 1984 books.google.com/books?id=WNso9EnqfxcC&pg=PA114 one Alfred Jenkins Shriver left $800,000 to Johns Hopkins University in his will for the construction of a lecture hall on condition that on diplay in the hall would be portraits of ten Baltimore women he remembered as beautiful in his youth. Lota Robinson was among them, although some felt that her distinction was more her vivacity and the only one to remain unmarried. She appears quite often in the social columns, with her hats and other fashionable attire frequently mentioned. The Dispatch (Provo, Utah), May 27, 1891, page 3, bottom of column 3, with picture chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn86091037/1891-05-27/ed-... indicates, in a piece on Baltimore Beauties, that she is the daughter of Mrs. John Robinson, a Baltimore social leader. There were clearly rumors of engagements in the press, incluing one as early as 1902, in the Free press., November 22, 1902, page 2. chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn84029696/1902-11-22/ed-... I'm inclined to think she is the women in a dark outfit next to Mrs. Roosevelt. Gross, of York, Pa. "Mrs. Boykin, who was formerly Miss Mary Washington Robinson, is one of five attractive sisters, the others being Miss Lota Robinson, Mrs. Richard Morton, Mrs. George P. Mordecai and Mrs. Edward Crozer, of Philadelphia. Mrs. J. Ramsay Barry, another sister, died in 1901. "Mrs. Boykin's brothers are Moncure Robinson, of Philadelphia, and J. Randolph Robinson, of New York. The late Mrs. John M. Robinson, Mrs. Boykin's mother, was one of the leaders of the social life in Baltimore for many years and was noted for her charming and winsome manner and the success and originality of her entertainments."

My best guess for Mrs. T. Hitchcock is Mrs. Thomas Hitchcock, the former Louise Mary Eustis. She would be the third from the left in this picture, with her eyes shut. Best bet for Miss Alexander from those I've found so far is: Harriet ALEXANDER, b. 1888, New York City, later Mrs. Winthrop W. Aldrich (Harriet Alexander, 1888–1972) www.metmuseum.org/collections/search-the-collections/437707 Her sisters, Mary and Janetta (also possibilities) are with her in www.theodorerooseveltcenter.org/Research/Digital-Library/... as is their cousin Eleanor Butler Alexander. Eleanor was already married by 1916. As Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt , Jr., Eleanor was at the parade, but I presume Bain would not make that mistake.

This poor man looks pretty skinny. I hope his life wasn't as hard as it seems here.
