    A somewhat similar photo of Morgan, at hdl.loc.gov/loc.pnp/cph.3b40359 , has a copyright registration date of 1902. I'm not certain, but I think the photo here is probably earlier. The "20 years ago" could well be relative to his death in 1913.

    I agree swang that the pic shown here looks like it is earlier. That 1902 pic shows his hair a bit sparser, and a bit whiter. Although with Morgan's known aversion to having his photographic portrait made due to the problem with his schnozzola, it's quite possible either or both have been retouched in the nose area. Possibly other areas too.
