  Sorry no, Quasymody, the dress is 1926-1930. We do have a photograph of the wedding reception of Dinah Hordern and Harry Meeks at: acms.sl.nsw.gov.au/album/ItemViewer.aspx?itemid=823987&am... By 1936, the long dress and large hat was de riguer for bridesmaids. The wedding above is clearly pretty posh so it is possibly at Pitt Street Presbyterian Church.

  Hmmm... What a mystery! Based on the look of the bridesmaids, above, this could possibly be the Brady - Broadhurst wedding in January 1928. It was considered vice-regal as Broadhurst was the Chamberlain to the Governor-General (hence the police presence). There is a description of the bridesmaids' clothing and a photograph of the bride and groom on Trove. nla.gov.au/nla.news-article16433091 nla.gov.au/nla.news-article16433188 Also, this photograph is part of the Sam Hood collection, and according to Trove, Hood covered the Brady-Broadhurst wedding... EG
