Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Alte Fotos privat, Familie ,Freizeit und Urlaub,, and we'd love to have this added to the group! So würde man heute kein Foto machen...die ältere Generation war schon mutig.

The school on the picture is called Nairobi School. It is one of the National secondary schools in Kenya and it's now located in Nairobi.

It is true that the school today is known as Nairobi School but at the time the photo was taken it was known as the Prince of Wales School. So the caption should remain. Please refer to the following which appears at the start of the collection. "Please note the pictures and the captions attached to them are representative of the time they were taken. They are frequently terms that would not be used today. However, our role is to preserve the integrity of the historic public record which is why they have been preserved and presented as originally captured."

Its good that the school is still going, as is the Kenya High school for girls.
