I think the 'Orsova' was arriving in Sydney "shortly after dawn" on Monday 19/4/1954. Berthed at Wharf 13 Pyrmont, hence she is heading under the Bridge. Kirribilli Ferry Wharf at right. Evidently the "distinctive "Welsh Hat" funnel is specially designed to keep the deck clear of smut." [sic!] Also ... This must have been one of Samuel J. Hood's last photographs.
