Presumably Mrs. Charles Seymour Whitman. Her husband was elected Governor of New York State in Fall 1914, taking office in January 1915. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOCTuHLfXd0 (a Pathe News piece on the 1916 GOP convention) gives her name as Olive H. Whitman. From their daughter's 2005 obituary (at www.newportdailynews.com/ee/newportdailynews/index.php?pa... ) "Olive Whitman Parsons ANNAPOLIS, MD - Since 1994 and formerly of Newport, RI and New York, NY, 94, died on February 27th of complications from a stroke at the Ginger Cove Health Center. Daughter of the late Olive Hitchcock and Charles Seymour Whitman, governor of New York from 1914-1918, Mrs. Parsons was born October 28, 1910, in New York City" So this is the former Olive Hitchcock.
