I would wonder whether the grounds are part of the current Horse Park of NJ; it's not Monmouth Park as far as I can tell.

The Horse Park of New Jersey opened in 1987. Monmouth Park Racetrack opened in 1870 and was used for polo, horse racing, and horse shows.

Richard Norton It's not clear to me that these photos were taken at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. The Wikipedia entry indicates the Long Branch track had gone out of business in 1894. This entry en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monmouth_County_Horse_Show indicates the show changed venues over the years. The track in Long Branch where the show took place in 1917 was known as Hollywood Park. books.google.com/books?id=lE85AQAAMAAJ&lpg=PA156&...

The Saddle and Show Horse Chronicle, Volume 7, 1917-1918 shows that Miss Wanamaker was an extremely successful horsewoman. Page 54 indicates that at the Long Branch Horse Show (July 25-28, 1917), she had fourteen wins in fifteen showings. See books.google.com/books?id=lE85AQAAMAAJ and search for "Long Branch".
