Today, to the right side of the frame you would find Nassau Community College (which has repurposed may of the base's former buildings as lecture halls), to the left, occupying several former Mitchel Field hangars would be the Cradle of Aviation Museum, and the Long Island Children's Museum. And, well, as for Roosevelt Field to the north, you would see a large shopping mall. . .
