The second Winnipeg City Hall was constructed to replace an earlier building on the site. This building was demolished in 1962 to make way for the new Civic Centre. Reference: www.heritagewinnipeg.com/historic_buildingsEarly.htm

This old drill hall burned down in 1919. It was due for demolition anyway, as the new Legislative Building was nearing completion on the same property.
