nla.gov.au/nla.obj-425735388/view - Pix, January 6th, 1945...the issue in which Elizabeth Refchange was announced as winner of the Pix Covergirl Quest...see pp. 3-5 ; 16-19 For what it's worth, I suspect she's on the top of the Sun Building, in Phillip/Elizabeth Sts... trove.nla.gov.au/work/188532982 - this NLA Fairfax aerial pic was taken in ca. early 1933...it shows the Sun Building and surrounds towards the bottom of frame...

nla.gov.au/nla.obj-449744708/view?sectionId=nla.obj-47886... - this pic appeared in Pix on 5th August, 1944...in a feature article titled 'WAAFs Release Airmen for Assault on Japan' Pix's caption: 'Technicians ACWs Jean Gray, Isobel Mack, Joyce Tysoe and Constance Black step briskly along the tarmac on their way to begin day’s work at station in Australia where PIX took these pictures. This team of Waaaf technicians was the first to begin duty at station. None of the girls had experience of mechanics before joining up. Joyce Tysoe was a stenographer, now she is an aircraft rigger.
