    No idea where it is, but this looks like it might be part of the extensive canal system in Ireland that still exists today. I love the shot! Very picturesque and interesting - but there are too many people in that boat methinks!

    Terry Well, I think there was rather more posing than purported boating going on here! Happy enough that it was somewhere near Lurgan, but (as always) would like to pin it down...

    There is a Kinnego townland and a Kinnego Bay - both just north of Lurgan on the Lough Neagh shore. There look to be numerous inlets that might match the one illustrated. That area continues to be a popular sailing centre - in fact, I spent a weekend sailing at Oxford Island back in the day.

    J Herbert "Established 1883" (written on gable middle foreground). Joseph Herbert is to be found in the 1901 Census but he and his family are gone by 1911. Would suggest we're looking at Pre 1911
