Poltava Shuttle Mission

  • Scott said:
Lt Everett A Thies was a pilot with the 22nd squadron, 7th Photo Group, Mount Farm, Oxfordshire, UK. During his time in Poltava his crew chief was TSgt Daniel Noble on the left. Dot & Dash appears to be an F-5c (unarmed P-38 variant). This a/c was subsequently shot down near Zuiderzee, Holland probably by an ME-262 on October 6, 1944. The pilot, Lt Claude C Murray evaded.
