The end of the HMS Queen Mary: From www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/hms_queen_mary.htm "During the battle of Jutland after receiving direct hits from the German ships Seydlitz and Derfflinger the Queen Mary blew up with the loss of 1,266 crew with only 9 survivors." The Battle of Jutland was May 31-June 1, 1916. The Queen Mary was sunk on May 31, according to www.worldwar1.co.uk/sunk16.htm
