  I gasped when I opened the page - it was still quite industrial up until not that long ago. The soot on the stonework too - clean now but years of burning coal had a huge effect on not just the buildings but the peoples health. I bet there wasn't a Greggs on the Quayside back then..

  I zoomed my page up but the image quality isn't there. I can say it looks like a 5 letter name and looks like this. Someone needs to fill the gaps in! C??AN

  I was thinking that streetview wasn't quite right - this is the correct location but before the O'Callaghan building was built maps.google.ie/maps?q=O'+Connell+St.&hl=en&ll=53.... so that puts it 1870-1894 presumably
