The signs by the open door to #8 are for Charles S. Quinlan, solicitor. Who seemingly commissioned other images from Poole. Like this one of the aftermath of a fire. Which may have been business/client related.

Niall McAuley - I was in J&k Walsh public house not long before it closed, Mr.Walsh was blind, he also lived alone on the premises, he knew every inch of his shop by touch.
