Previous commenter is not correct, having probably mistaken this building for the Multnomah Hotel, now an Embassy Suites, built in 1912. The Beck Building, hugely and unfortunately remodeled, is at 225 SW Broadway, and is now known as the Commerce Building.

The Lewis and Clark Exposition actually ran from June 1, 1905, and until October 15, 1905. It was commemorating the 100 year anniversary of Lewis and Clark's expedition. Best wishes
