I (and my parents and sister) sailed from that very same dock, on the Holland-America Line's MAASDAM, in August, 1956. After a nine-day voyage, we landed in ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands.

The Bemidji Daily Pioneer., December 08, 1919, page 1 chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn86063381/1919-12-08/ed-... has a photo that shows a similarly decorated vehicle, with caption "Soldiers carrying caskets into the chapel in Hoboken, N. J., where the services were held for the 103 American soldiers who died in Russia. The bodies were brought back on the army transport Lake Daraga." Although the photo may not represent the same event, it suggests that the street may be in Hoboken.
