All the photos in this series at City College are likely from the reception for Nobel Prize winner as noted elsewhere here. Taft attended a reception at City College in New York for Dr Alexis Carrel, who had won the Nobel Prize for medicine in 1912. The event took place on on ,Nov 16, 1912.
