Sorry to disappoint you, but The Swedish National Heritage Board has decided that all photographs we show on the Commons should have the same resolution - like the picture above. Anyway, we're so glad you like it! Nice day to you too :) /Anna B.

...you may of course order a file in high resolution scan from our photo database online Kulturmiljöbild. Follow the second link in the photo information above, read about the database and send your order to the e-mail address at the bottom of the page. Good luck! /Anna B.

looking at the collection, i think that possibly the image can show the houses and mills under the new bridge of Ronda you can compare with www.kms.raa.se/cocoon/bild/raa-image/16001000211906/norma... or www.kms.raa.se/cocoon/bild/raa-image/16001000211804/norma...

jorge dragón]: Interesting thought, maybe so. I'd like very much to see a modern picture taken from the New Bridge - to compare. The photos you linked to are both uploaded to this site today. Thanks for your commitment ! /Anna B.

This is a very special picture from Vøringsfossen waterfall! The most visited waterfalls in Norway in many ways. You drive the famous Måbøvalley and you can visit the waterfall in 30 minutes walk. I would strongly recommend to bring with you a guide to get the dramatic history about the hard way of living here ,the avalanches, roadbuilding and about the Fossli Hotel. Edvard Grieg was here too composing! The surroundings are like Grand Canyon! Waterfall is 182 meeters high! And the bridge is brand new in 2008! The waterfall is still as beautiful as ever! and you can see the rainbow crossing the waterfall between 5 and 7pm If you ever come to NOrway, visit it! Welcome to Eidfjord! You will never forget the place! Gunn MArit Lægreid, Eidfjord, Norway!
