NC-14A Reliance, christened November 6, 1931, was a twin-motored ship of 112,000 cubic feet with two 110 h. p. Warner Scarab motors. It was 140 feet in length, 40 feet in diameter, 100 gal. fuel capacity, speed was 60 mph. It had a cruising range of 450 miles and could carry six passengers.
