USS Akron (ZRS-4) of the USN. First launched on 8 Aug 31, the airship was lost in the Atlantic Ocean off the New Jersey coast in a violent storm on 4 Apr 33 w/ 73 souls as, incredibly, they were carrying no life vests or survival gear.
