The bear on wheels is lovely, possibly a Steiff, although I'm not sure a new Steiff would have been available in America in 1917. I have not been able to track down a similar wooden frame in pictures of Steiff bears on the web. www.rareandsigned.com/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=1... has a picture of a replica of the 1921 Steiff bear.
