    Possibly taken on Fishers Island, at eastern end of Long Island Sound. According to fishersisland.net/hlf-museum-files-g-b-linderman-mansion/ Zimbalist and Gluck rented the G.B.Linderman house in 1917 for the summer and bought the house in February 1918.

    If I'm correctly seeing the silhouette of a mountain range in background, this photo was definitely not taken on Fishers Island. Just as importantly, the porch does not match the one at the former G.B. Linderman house. Pierce Rafferty, director, Henry L. Ferguson Museum, Fishers Island, NY
