This is a wonderful record of a very sad event where stories, journeys, events and tragedies witnessed are being consigned to the scrapheap of history and Hammond Lane! Not sure where he gets the sixteen but there are definitely thirteen! The one nearest the camera has another facing back towards us!

I must get my glasses, lol. Great, but sad record. Diesel engines l guess were waiting in the wings......

lol it's depth gauges, not charges :)

Also, the picture is pretty clearly labeled and displayed upside-down.
The inscriptions on the gauge faces are all upside-down and the speaking tube and lights make no sense in this direction.
I think you should invert it for display in the Commons.

This appears to be the USS G-3, formerly the Turbot.

Also the inclinometer would not be much use in that orientation.
