taking a guess, is this Kilroot at Carrickfergus?

Foxglove It's not Kilroot. I worked on Kilroot and it has vertical cladding and no windows. Someone will eventually tell us where it is.

If it is Ringsend, then the main building and chimney have been changed (which seems unlikely), but the set of 4 circular tank bases in Morgan's photo line up with 4 existing tanks on the modern aerial view and the wedge-shaped property to the north of the 4 tanks is still identifiable

I think it is a Scammell Tractor - reminds me of a blue Matchbox Pickfords one I had as a child, like this -

There's a somewhat similar one in the National Transport Museum in Howth.

Probably just as part of that road was being converted into dual carriageway?

Many of these large loads traveled at night through towns and villages.I do remember in 1958 the "old Hogan Stand coming through Newbridge on its way to The Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, it had been disassembled of course.

Can't see an Austin Cambridge anywhere and it was not closed 2or3 years after MrO'Dea visited.

The ESB has a booklet all about Ardnacrusha and the Shannon Scheme. This building houses the actual generators: Here's the other side of the building with the penstocks: You can normally go on a tour of it during the summer months (I went last year), but this year looks unlikely.
