    Today's photo is several months (or years?) before the March 1956 one that Google found above. See the gardens in the houses bottom left, etc.

    The factory and Cement Company's Siding are marked on the 1930s 6"OSI map, as well as an Aerial Ropeway to quarries some 3km away.

    The ropeway seems to have survived until the 70s, the siding is gone, too.

    I see the pylons for the ropeway in todays pic, but they are all gone in Streetview.
