Marked on the 1930s Cassini OSI as Munster Agricultural Society's Show Grounds

I added a note on an ad for C.A.B. painted on a shed roof - the C.A.B. Motor Company Limited is still in business across the road: Streetview. Founded in 1924, but only moved to Monahan Road in the 70s.

Still shown, looking derelict, on Google Earth, but gone on Google maps. Perhaps demolished fairly recently? Or perhaps not? See www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/20867...

Ooooh! This is better than Google satellite view... :) And it's March 1955 according to the catalogue record, so this is Thursday, 17 March 1955. The Lemur will be able to work out the time of day from the shadows!

I found a reference to "State Express" being manufactured in a factory on the Cashel Road, Dublin, and the roads appear to match in this Google Satellite View.

Looking on Streetview , at least the office block parts of the buildings at the front seem to be still there, even if the manufacturing part has been obviously altered.
