As pre-existing tags already indicate, this is DST-A-207 c/n 1960, which was impressed into the USAAF on June 8, 1942 as C-48B 42-56098. It returned to the civil registry as NC18102 (United Air Lines 'Iowa' January 19, 1944), later N912F. Converted to DC-3A, later N777X, various owners/operators.

The fleet number "74" denotes this as United Air Lines' ill-fated Douglas DC-3 (DC-3A-197), registered NC16074 (c/n 1914). NC16074 was in service for a very short time after its delivery to United Airlines on December 1, 1936. The airliner would crash on October 17, 1937, with the loss of all 19 souls (3 crew/16 passengers) aboard, when it flew into the slope of Haydens Peak, WY on Humpy Ridge at an elevation of approximately 10,000-feet.
