    When a kid I ran away from home because of my wicked stepmom and was given sanctuary with a carnival sideshow. I traveled with them all summer and they were the best family I ever had. However, the carny boss put pressure on me to contact my Dad about a week before school started. Dad was told the skivvy and life was way better once I got home. I cried because I did not want to go home. That is how great these folks were. It was probably, the best summer of my life.

    The ladders are NEW!!! I grew up in this part of the country and never saw a new ladder before. Probably used the same ladders in the 50's and 60's that were in these pictures. Probably still using them?
