Part of the festivities for the dedication of the Maine Monument in Central Park. May 30, 1913

If I'm not mistaken, this is looking up Broadway from Columbus Circle with the Ansonia building visible straight down Broadway at 73rd/74th where Broadway turns. Nothing else remains from what I can tell.

it makes for a grand entrance to central park. u have an amazing city!!

It would be nice if there was still that much green space around it.
