To Pan American Airways 22 May 1947. Nicknamed "Clipper Racer". Returned to USAF 23 November 1953. Modified to VC-54G. Last served with MACMG, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. WFU and sent to AMARC for storage September 1972. Scrapped 1976.
