C-99! This plane was damaged in a high wind storm when it was parked on the ground at Kelly A.F.B.! It is now being repaired!

Actually, after sitting at Kelly for eons, the USAF Museum drilled it apart (into subassemblies) and moved it to Dayton, where it will eventually be restored for display.

The C-99 was built from the B-36. There was only this one version built. But it was used by the Air Force for about 8 years as a transport!
