    This probably reflects the aircraft's handover back to USAF after conversion to TEST-to-TACTICAL which was when aircraft were returned to Convair and upgraded from TAC Conventional to Vertical instruments in 1961. Fuselage cut in half at station 412 (Aft bulkhead missile bay) and a new fuselage, cockpit section, and nose section was installed with the latest production avionics, and reassigned to various ADC units. F-106B 57-2515 was the last aircraft so modified. Stig

    B-47E-45-LM, s/n 52-0370 (MSN 178). Modified to JB-47E. Assigned Proving Ground Command Center, Eglin AFB, FL. To MASDC for storage 7 July 1967. Converted back to B-47E at MASDC 17 September 1968. Declared excess 27 January 1969. Scrapped at MASDC.

To civil registry 11 March 1977 as N39407 with Hamilton Aviation Co., then CP-1330 with Frigorificos Reyes. WFU and stored 1979.
