Crikey. I didn't realise it took so long to build the Civic Centre. I can't see Jim Merrington sat in his Tyne Brewery office.

Power station beside the brewery? Or could it simply be a large boiler house for the brewing process??

If your talking the building with the two chimneys on Corporation Street, I think it was something to do with the brewing. You Could look in the windows as you walked past.

It's a good view of the City Pool and City Hall at front left and the Hancock Museum at the top left of the Civic Centre too
