The Guys look fresh so maybe taken shortly after its arrival.

Interesting that the nose glazing and chin turret on this Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress have been censored out of the photo. By September 1944 (when this photo was taken) a chin turret equipped Flying Fortresses would hardly have been a "secret."
