bolshevik

Most likely: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Krylenko But the image does not match. We need a third image to see which one is correct.

The author of the post at kevinspraggettonchess.wordpress.com/2013/02/09/nikolai-kr... clearly does think they match since he uses both.

Source apparently " 'Album of Revolutionary Russia' 1919 [?] www.marxists.org/history/ussr/art/photography/album/Rev-R...
see B-59's comment under

Original Caption: "N. Krylenko, Former Military Commander-in-Chief of the Soviet Republic"

I removed the image that does not match from the WIkipedia article and substituted in the Bain one, since the text of the Wikipedia article matches the man described in Album of Revolutionary Russia, that uses the same image as Bain.

"Sergey Semyonovich Zorin (1891–1937), was the party's First Secretary of the Leningrad City Committee roughly equating to that of mayor. He held the position between November 1919 and February 1921. As such, he hosted the 2nd World Congress of the Comintern." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergey_Zorin

This photo is in the 'Album of Revolutionary Russia' www.marxists.org/history/ussr/art/photography/album/Rev-R... The caption says that Zorin was President of the Petrograd Revolutionary Tribunal.

Thanks Art Siegel and B-59 for finding the related image in the "Album of Revolutionary Russia." We will add more details when we update.

This photo is in the 'Album of Revolutionary Russia' www.marxists.org/history/ussr/art/photography/album/Rev-R... The caption says that W. Bakrylov was Commissar of the State Theatres.

Some information on him, identified as V. V. Bakrylov, in The Commissariat of Enlightenment: Soviet Organization of Education and the Arts Under Lunacharsky, October 1917-1921" "V. V. Bakrylov, (?-1922), employed by Lunacharsky in situations demanding show of force - the occupation of Ministry of Public Education in Nov. 1917; administration of Petrograd state theatres, Jan. 1918." Some details of those activities in Historical Dictionary of Russian Theatre, By Laurence Senelick books.google.com/books?id=mx5lCgAAQBAJ&pg=PA25&lp...

"Numerous prominent cultural figures resorted to this most final of acts. Vladimir Bakrylov, the first commissar of the Imperial Petrograd Theaters committed suicide in June 1922.
