Caption on N. Platte publication cited by B-59: "A scene outside the city prison in Ekaterinburg, Russia, where political prisoners, bolsheviki, are imprisoned. Scenes like this can be seen daily, the women bringing food and notes to the prisoners. The feeding of the prisoners has become a serious problem on account of the shortage of food In Russia."
