    This building was featured in the 1986 Billy Crystal/Gregory Hines movie "Running Scared." Their characters (a couple of burned out Chicago cops), roller skated into this bank to get a loan to buy a Key West bar!

    Milton C. Elliott (1879-1928) was a lawyer from Virginia, based in Washington DC, son of Warren G. Elliott (1848-1906), president of the Atlantic Coast Line. In May 1914, Milton C. Elliott delivered an address to the American Bankers' Association, titled "The Directors of the Federal Reserve Banks."
