I love this shot, the two engines one, ready for its journey and pumping out the smoke while the other is standing there biding its time. I've been trying to locate the station on Streetview but the place has changed so much since 1959 I am struggling. I really would love to identify the two engines and establish their types and service!

Swordscookie The one on the right is an ex Tralee and Dingle Light Railway Hunslet engine brought up when that line closed in late 40's/early50's

You can see the old railway alignment on the OSI Ortho 2005 view. So photograph take from about here. maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,593021,813939,7,0 This line from Arigna Station to Derreenavoggy was built in 1920 to service the coal mine there. Mine buildings on left.
