From Tony Browne: "The 89 year old lady next door said she was at the opening of the Sydney Harbor bridge and a paper took a picture and she was in the paper. I did a search and found this picture. When I showed her she remembered and all her memories of the day came back. She was very excited to see it as she no longer had a copy. The School was Bellmore North . The 2 girls featured are Isabella Watts on the left & Alice Walker then now Oldham the lady next door .;80 years ago.....she was 9 then."

It's Bostock & Wombwell's Circus and Menagerie I've researched part of their Australasian Tour. They were in New Zealand in 1906 and gifted a young one year old Lion to the City of Wellington. They auctioned off the animals on the Australasian Tour in November 1906 in Australia. I'm not certain if it was Melbourne or Sydney including a 35 year old Asiatic Elephant named Alice. I'm hoping the elephant is Alice in the photos. Bostock & Wombwell were long established in the UK as I recall from around 1825
