I certainly didn't think I'd spend my days at the maritime museum researching livestock breeds & genders :) She does look a bit like the ewe from Wagga Experimental Farm (first link) - perhaps a little younger in this pic..?

    Thanks, don't go to any trouble, I was just curious in the face of evidence that there were earlier issues. Perhaps the word "issue" meant "magazine" at the time and it was just a bit of self-promotion?
