In large it looks like they both have a net each. The boy on the left is holding the one with the visible trianglular net and the boy on the right has his submerged in the water. Thats how it looks on closer inspection at least. :)

This might have been me if the photo had been taken 10 years earlier. The pond in Herbert Park was once the mill pond for the nearby Mill at Ballsbridge. This later became the Bakery of Johnton, Mooney & O'Brien (all together now!), where my father spent his working life. This site was later to make a few people very rich,... (plus ca change). The Bakery is long gone and a posh Hotel and Apartments have replaced it.

Rihslw alw Rich, I see a line in the hand of the kid in the middle of the photo and I see this line in the water also, perhaps attached to one of the sail boats ( for retrieval purposes) what do you think? Carol are you off to play with the Mayfly!
