    Here we see Marjorie Lucey (nee Rouse) with her daughter Winifred and her father, Kodak Australasia chairman John Rouse. Both Marjorie and daughter Winifred arrived in Sydney on the Sierra on 8th August, 1929.

    Marjorie Lucey (b. 1893) was the eldest daughter of Kodak Australasia chairman John Rouse and his wife Anna. Marjorie and her sister Winifred were well known Sydney socialites in the years pre World War I. Marjorie married American engineer William Sylvester Lucey in 1918, after which she lived in the United States. Per the digitised newspapers, she made numerous return visits to Australia in the following decades. I gather Marjorie named her daughter after her sister...
